How a floor works
- Your team rides the elevator down to a new floor.
- Spread out and find the machines. Working on one triggers skill checks: press the button at the right moment to keep progress going.
- Once enough machines are done, the elevator opens. Get everyone back to it to move to the next floor.
- Between floors you can visit Dandy's shop to buy items with the tapes you picked up.
Twisteds
- Twisteds are monster versions of Toons. Each has its own behavior, so learn which ones are fast, which hunt by sound and which you can just avoid.
- Missed skill checks make noise and can draw Twisteds to you.
- If one chases you, break line of sight and loop around rooms instead of running into dead ends.
Common beginner mistakes
- Running into the fake elevator. Some floors have a decoy that looks like an exit. Watch for the taped-off one.
- Finishing the machine next to the elevator first. Leave it for last so the team has a short, safe run once the floor is done.
- Wandering off alone. Stay near teammates so someone can help when you're caught.
Toons and Ichor
You start as Poppy. Ichor, which you earn from runs and codes, unlocks more Toons, each with different stats and abilities. Tisha, Finn and Rodger are popular early unlocks because their abilities help the whole team progress faster. Check each Toon's stats in the shop before buying.
