Earning Bucks
- Tasks: your pets (and babies, if you play as a baby) show needs like hungry, thirsty, sleepy or bored. Completing them pays Bucks and gives your pet age progress at the same time.
- Payday: you get a small amount of Bucks regularly just for being in the game.
- Daily login rewards grow the more days in a row you play.
- Jobs: working jobs around Adoption Island pays a bit extra.
Tasks are the best early income because they do two things at once.
Eggs and pets
- Buy eggs at the Nursery or event shops and hatch them by completing tasks with the egg equipped.
- Pets have rarities from Common up to Legendary. The rarity is set by the egg, so check the shop for which eggs are available in the current update.
- Each pet grows through age stages, from Newborn up to Full Grown, as you complete its tasks.
Neon and Mega Neon pets
Combine four Full Grown pets of the same type at the Neon Cave to make a Neon pet. Four Full Grown Neons of the same type make a Mega Neon. These glowing versions are worth much more in trades.
Your house
Every player gets a house you can decorate and upgrade. Beds, food bowls, baths and other furniture let pets complete their tasks at home, which saves a lot of running around.
Trading safely
- Only trade through the official trade window, and check the final screen before accepting.
- Ignore anyone who asks you to drop pets, "trust trade" or give items first.
- Values change with updates and events, so compare offers with several players before you accept a big trade.
Beginner tips
- Equip a pet and do its tasks while you play. Bucks and age progress come together.
- Claim the daily login reward every day for streak bonuses.
- Save up for an event egg rather than buying many cheap eggs.
- Check our codes page during big events, when a rare code might appear.
