Steps
- Launch Adopt Me! and spawn on Adoption Island.
- Head to the code redemption spot on the island. It's a kiosk or safe whose exact location changes between updates, so look around the main town area or follow the event signs.
- Interact with it and type the code.
- Click Redeem! to get the item.
If there's no redemption spot in your version of the game, there's simply no code active right now. Our codes page shows whether a confirmed code exists today.
Why your code doesn't work
- There is no active code. Most of the year Adopt Me has zero working codes. Lists that show a dozen codes are usually copied from old or fake sources.
- The event ended. Codes are typically tied to a one-off event or partnership and switch off afterwards.
- Wrong spelling. Type the code exactly as it was announced.
- Already used. One redemption per account.
Avoiding scams
- Real Adopt Me codes never require your password, a "verification" app, or a visit to an outside website.
- "Free legendary pet" and "free Robux" codes shared in comments or videos are scams.
- Trades that promise a code in return are also a classic scam. Never give away pets for a code.
Tips
- Watch the official Adopt Me! Roblox group and social channels during big events. That's when codes appear.
- Daily login rewards, tasks and events are far more reliable sources of free Bucks and pets than codes. Our beginner guide covers them.
