How matches work
- You queue for 1v1 or small team duels in the lobby by stepping onto a queue pad.
- Each round, the side that eliminates the other wins the point. The first to the required number of rounds wins the match.
- Your loadout has slots for a primary, a secondary, a melee and a utility item.
The starter loadout
Everyone starts with the Assault Rifle, Handgun, Fists and Grenade. That's a solid kit: the rifle handles most ranges, the handgun is a quick backup when you're reloading, and the grenade forces enemies out of cover.
Keys and unlocking weapons
- Keys come from playing matches, completing tasks and contracts, and from codes.
- Spend them on one new weapon at a time and practice with it before buying the next. A weapon you know beats a "meta" weapon you don't.
- Wraps and skins are cosmetic only.
Aim and movement tips
- Warm up in the shooting range in the lobby before queuing.
- Strafe while shooting instead of standing still, and crouch to change your head height mid-fight.
- Fight from cover and peek, rather than running into the open.
- Reload when you're safe, not right after your first kill. The next enemy is usually close.
- Use the grenade to break a stalemate when someone is camping behind a wall.
Beginner tips
- Stick with the starter kit until you're comfortable, then unlock one new weapon.
- Do your daily tasks and contracts for steady keys.
- Play 1v1s to learn, and team modes once you know the maps.
