How a match works
- Two teams play on a court. Points are scored when the ball lands on the other side or the other team can't return it.
- Each side gets up to three touches: usually a receive, a set and a spike.
- Rotations and serving work like real volleyball, simplified for Roblox.
Pick one role and learn it
- Receiver / libero: bump the serve and keep the ball alive. Great for learning timing.
- Setter: put the ball where your hitter can spike. Less glamorous, very important.
- Spiker / wing: attack the set and score points.
- Blocker: jump at the net to stop spikes.
Stick to one role while you learn instead of chasing every ball.
Styles and spins
Your style gives your character special abilities, like stronger spikes, better jumps or improved receives. Styles are rolled with spins, which you get from playing and from codes. Choose a style that matches the role you play most, and save spins so you can roll several times when you go for a new one.
Practical tips
- Receiving: move under the ball early and face where you want it to go.
- Serving: a consistent serve that lands in beats a powerful one that goes out.
- Spiking: watch the blockers and aim for the gaps.
- Communication: call the ball or stay in your zone. Two players going for the same ball loses points.
